A beat made today you can say it’s a mini tribute to Dilla. Trying to emulate his bass lines and picking out samples the way he did are near impossible for many producers but I gave it try. It’s jazzy but yet real raw underground feel, something that you’d here in one of Dilla’s beat tapes trying to keep it simple yet pivotal.
